Logistics in Catering is crucial. Keep this in mind when planning a beach event.

When planning a beach wedding or other group event, you may very well get carried away with a perfect location. Only to find that every item needs to be carried away, a long way across the dunes and through the sand. Plan of needing someone to transport your guests, should the available parking be located remotely. Be sure to inform each vendor that they will need to make provisions with their methods of delivery as well.

Make sure you check the location at high tide on a full moon, to make sure that there will be ample space for your reception or event.

Electricity available? If not, be sure not to hire a DJ or have need for any other electical devices.

Ideally, if a beach event is what you desire, then you may be wise to choose a beachfront venue or facility that can accomodate your guest's needs, if your attendees are not of an adventerous nature.

On top of all that, just pray the weather is good.
